Driveway Grading & Access Roads

Gravel & Rural ROAD INSTALLATION

A bad driveway that makes it hard to get in and out of your property is more than an inconvenience. When it’s done right, you don’t have to think about it. When it’s done wrong, you get potholes, ruts, mud pits, and washouts every time it rains.

Most “gravel jobs” fail because someone just dumped stone on the ground without thinking about water runoff or the soil.

We do things differently.

At ASG Dirtworx, we build and restore gravel driveways and access roads that hold up to Georgia weather, traffic, and clay soils. From simple home driveways to access roads through woods or pasture, we take the time to grade, crown, compact, and manage water the right way.

Every road or driveway we build is designed to shed water and handle traffic for years to come.

Common Driveway Problems We Fix

  • Potholes & Ruts – Caused by rain and traffic, repaired by regrading and compacting.

  • Erosion & Washouts – Fixed with re-crowning, drainage, and new gravel.

  • Uneven Surfaces – Reshaped and compacted for a smooth, level drive.

  • Poor Drainage – Corrected with proper slope, ditches, or French drains.

  • Failing Culverts – Replaced or resized to handle runoff safely.

DRIVEWAY Services We Offer

Gravel Driveway Installation

New builds with proper base prep, layered stone, and compaction — ready to handle daily traffic without rutting or sinking.

Gravel Driveway Repair & Re-Crowning

Fix potholes, ruts, and uneven surfaces by regrading and topping with fresh stone. A re-crown restores the slope so water sheds off instead of pooling.

Driveway Culverts & Drainage Solutions

Crossings and ditches that keep stormwater flowing under your drive instead of washing it out. Proper drainage is the difference between a driveway that lasts and one that fails.

Access Roads for Acreage & Barns

Long gravel roads cut through woods or fields, designed for trucks, trailers, and equipment. Perfect for rural homesites, barns, and hunting land.

Parking Pads & Expansions

Extra gravel pads for parking, trailer storage, or widened driveways.

Our DRIVEWAY Build Process

We don’t just dump stone and leave.

  1. Assessment & Consultation – Walk the site, identify problem spots, and explain solutions.

  2. Grading & Shaping – Regrade the surface, cut a crown, and adjust slopes for proper runoff.

  3. Fabric (as needed) – Install geotextile fabric under stone in soft clay or problem areas.

  4. Layered Stone – Base layer for strength, mid-size stone for stability, fines on top for finish.

  5. Compaction – Roll each layer tight with heavy equipment.

  6. Drainage Fixes – Add culverts, aprons, or ditches where needed.

  7. Final Walkthrough – Ensure the drive is smooth, stable, and draining correctly.
